Simply put, travel will make you a more well-rounded human being. Which is really the goal, isn’t it?
I was fortunate enough to have travelled to a handful of countries in the past year for various campaigns.
People you meet whilst on the road usually become a valuable contact in your address book, giving you points on the map to visit later on. For me, some of these fine folk have become valued friends. These people give you a glimpse outside your hometown circle of friends, forcing you into new and refreshing perspectives on things.
Too many of us are reliant on our comfort zones and exotic cultures will teach you that the way you look at the world (each to their own) is not the way everybody does. Seeing and experiencing it for yourself brings a healthy dose of reality to our so-called higher thinking.
So if you’re a dreamer, a believer and a hard worker then you’re probably also the kind that welcomes new challenges. Life’s too short to be unhappy, so get out your comfort zone, make the most of everyday and happy travels!
I leave you with some inspiration to get the ball rolling. #TravelTuesdays
